
Hi, I’m Ville.
I’ve always been fascinated by human performance — how training, nutrition, and recovery shape not only the body but also the mind. My career began in the Finnish Defence Forces, where I worked as an officer and physical training leader. Today, I continue this mission at the Finnish Ministry of Defence, where my daily work focuses on developing the physical performance and readiness of soldiers. Over the years I’ve learned that preparation, structure, and consistency can transform anyone’s performance — whether in the military or in everyday life.
My Story
Over the last 20 years, I’ve coached athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and professionals. I’ve helped physique athletes step on stage, supported soldiers preparing for demanding missions, and guided everyday people to build stronger, healthier bodies.
Alongside coaching, I’ve dedicated myself to science. I’m a PhD researcher in sports coaching and exercise science, specializing in body composition and physique sports. I’ve published research in international journals and developed education systems for coaches as the Director of the IFBB Nordic Academy and Secretary General of the IFBB Coaches Commission.
What drives me is simple: translating complex science into practical steps that help you succeed. No hype, no gimmicks — just methods that are proven to work.
Speaking, Teaching & Media
Over the past 15+ years, I have given an average of 10–20 lectures each year to universities, companies, and industry events. My work as an educator has also taken me around the world, training personal trainers and coaches in countries such as Morocco, Australia, and Spain. In addition, I’ve spoken at several international exercise science symposia, sharing research on physique athletes, training adaptation, and nutrition.
